New crane for Barsuchkovskaya SHPP put into operation

In July 2020, our specialists launched a new trestle crane with a capacity of 10 tons. The crane manufactured by the plant will maneuver trash grates, a repair gate and a flat-jaw electro-hydraulic grab at the water intake of the Barsuchkovskaya SHPP. Barsuchkovskaya SHPP is a small power plant located on the territory of HPP-4 in the Kochubeevsky district of the Stavropol Territory.

This is a pilot project for the development of small hydropower in the North Caucasus, implemented by one of the largest generating companies in Russia, JSC RusHydro.

The goal of the project is to create new generating capacities in the North Caucasian Federal District. This is not the first crane delivered as part of the projects for the construction of facilities of the energy holding RusHydro.
