A new electric bridge crane was put into operation at SinTZ

Kamensk-Uralsky, November 2 – IA Vremya Press. SinTZ, part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), has installed a new electric bridge crane at the hot-rolled pipe finishing section as part of the modernization of lifting equipment.

The crane with a lifting capacity of 15 tons was manufactured according to a special project and made it possible to improve the working conditions of specialized workers. It is equipped with a noise-insulating closed-type cabin, an updated and ergonomic control panel, an air conditioning system and energy-saving LED lights.

“The plant regularly upgrades its material and technical base in order to maintain its leading position in terms of quality and production volumes. Over the past two years, we have replaced three electric bridge cranes with new, more advanced and ergonomic models. Upgrading the equipment makes it possible to increase the manufacturability of production, reduce maintenance costs and improve the working conditions of the personnel, which directly affects the efficiency of the enterprise,” said Vyacheslav Gagarinov, Managing Director of SinTZ.

Sinarsky Pipe Plant (SinTZ) is one of the largest specialized enterprises in Russia for the production of steel pipes. The plant was founded in 1934, in 2002 it became part of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK). SinTZ produces a wide range of OCTG pipes.
